ŠKODA Ring of Clare cycle to bring 4,500 visitors to the County
Ennis will host the ŠKODA Ring of Clare Cycle on Saturday, July 28th, when up to 4,500 visitors will descend on the county as both participants and supporters.
2,500 cyclists have registered for this year’s sportive cycle, which will start from the GAA grounds in Clarecastle on Saturday morning.
Cyclists can choose to complete a 160km route or a 120km route, both routes will see cyclists head west along the stunning wild Clare coastline around the Loop Head Peninsula, and they will come home to Ennis along the tranquil Shannon Estuary waters.
Later on Saturday evening the cyclists and their supporters can further test their stamina by tapping into ‘The Bike Fleadh’, supported by Ennis Chamber, hosted across 15 venues throughout Ennis. It comprises a traditional music trail, live bands and late night DJs.
ŠKODA Ring of Clare Cycle is part of the international ŠKODA Celtic Cycle Series and will welcome cyclists from over 15 countries.
