The much-anticipated Ennis Town Centre Public Realm Regeneration Projects due to start January 2020, are the subject of forthcoming consultation clinics to be held on June 12th, conducted by Clare County Council appointed Urban Design Team, Nicholas de Jong Associates.
The series of four meetings have been organised by Tom McNamara & Partners who have been appointed as project managers of the Ennis Town Centre Public Realm Regeneration Projects, namely the regeneration of Parnell Street, the Lanes and Bow-ways (Project A) and O’Connell Square, High Street, Barrack Street and Barrack Square (Project B).
The two projects have a shared aim to regenerate the public realm and to enhance Ennis town centre environment.
At the consultation clinics to be held on June 12th in the Maguire Suite, Old Ground Hotel, business people and other local stakeholders will be briefed on the projects. All are welcome and a briefing pack will be made available for attendees to take away with them.
The Urban Design team look forward to meeting those interested in the project and will review people’s ideas and will incorporate them where possible and appropriate, during the detailed design process.

The consultation has been broken into four sessions on the basis of location. An overview presentation will be given at the start of each consultation clinic, which will take around 20 minutes.
Consultation Clinics as follows:
09.30 – 10.45: Area A – Shaded Yellow on the map
11.15 – 12.30: Area B/ Shaded Green on the map
14.15 – 15.30: Area C /Shaded Orange on the map
15.45 – 17.00: Area D – Shaded Orange on the map
