A business breakfast set for Wednesday, May 22, at Temple Gate Hotel, Ennis, will explore the ‘Lending Landscape for 2019 – What Businesses Need to Know’.
Co-hosted by Ennis Chamber and Bank of Ireland, the event is free to attend for Ennis Chamber members. Keynote speaker at this business breakfast is Owen Clifford, Sector Head with Bank of Ireland since 2015.
Owen is responsible for the continuing development of the Bank’s growth strategy in the key area of convenience grocery, and in that role, has actively supported leading retailers and stakeholders to grow and develop their business in a sustainable manner.
He has brought extensive industry knowledge and experience to this role, having worked in the retail sector with Musgrave Retail Partners Ireland where his role involved supporting independent retailers to maximise their profitability and to develop long-term, sustainable business models.
During this time Owen built a significant knowledge base, and a network of connections with expertise, in the areas of finance, operations and legal/regulatory requirements specific to that retail sector.
Exploring the Lending Landscape
Mindful that the audience on May 22nd will be drawn from a wide range of sectors, Owen’s presentation won’t exclusively centre on retail, instead he will highlight the overall lending landscape for 2019 and will outline what businesses need to do to successfully unlock lending opportunities for their business.
