Irish Red Cross Humanitarian Awards
The Irish Red Cross has launched a call for nominations for the 2024 Humanitarian Awards – a celebration of Ireland’s exceptional leadership and innovation in support of those in need.
The Irish Red Cross Humanitarian Awards shine a spotlight on the selfless efforts of individuals, organisations and businesses in Ireland who have contributed to the betterment of society.
The Irish Red Cross has asked Ennis Chamber to spread the word about these worthy awards amongst our network. The more nominations they receive, the more public awareness they will raise about the incredible acts of good by individuals and organisations in aid of those in need, both in Ireland and abroad.
Nomination categories are:
- Humanitarian of the Year
- Young Humanitarian of the Year
- Humanitarian Group/Organisation of the Year
- Humanitarian Journalist of the Year
- Corporate Impact and Lifetime Achievement.
The Corporate Impact Award will recognise an Irish or Irish-based business of any size that has demonstrated an exemplary contribution to a humanitarian cause/s through the active engagement of employee volunteer programmes, skill-sharing, fundraising and other activities.

The deadline for submissions is the 23rd of March. The 2024 Irish Red Cross Humanitarian Awards presentation will take place on the 14th of May at the Royal College of Physicians on Kildare Street in Dublin.
