It’s great to be young! The panel of speakers, at Wednesday’s Breakfast Fundraiser for Ennis RFC proved that adage true. They were brim full of energy and enthusiasm for life. It was infectious and the audience enjoyed the chat, ably compered by sports journalist Eoin Brennan.
While Alana McInerney, Aoife Corey, Tony Butler and Ethan Coughlan, all of whom honed their rugby skills at Ennis RFC and now feature on Munster Rugby panels, shared their rugby hopes and dreams, they also chatted about Ireland’s chances in the forthcoming Rugby World Cup. Regarding the latter, they expressed quiet optimism, while acknowledging the tough draw Ireland finds itself in.
Ennis Chamber would like to acknowledge and thank the board of Ennis RFC and the Centenary Committee for their support for this event, and we thank Eoin Brennan and the wonderful panel of players/speakers, as well as Caroline O’ Connor And her team at CSGL Electrical for their kind sponsorship support.
