On 8-9 February, Ennis, Co. Clare, will welcome EU Commissioner for Energy Kadri Simson, political leaders and key industry stakeholders from across Europe, to discuss climate change and the potential of renewable energies to accelerate the sustainable transition.
‘Powering the Future’ conference will be held at glór theatre, Ennis. Highlights will include EU Commissioner for Energy Kadri Simson in conversation with Senator Timmy Dooley, co-president Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe (ALDE) Party. The duo will discuss the role of renewable energy in achieving the European Union’s climate objectives and will address future challenges.
Senator Timmy Dooley is the driving force behind bringing this high level conference to Ennis and to County Clare.
