Clare Business Excellence Awards 2019 are now open ……
Ennis Chamber is delighted to announce the official launch of the 10th consecutive Clare Business Excellence Awards.
Keeping things fresh, two exciting new categories are added this year. Riding the green wave, ‘Best Green & Sustainable Practices’ sponsored by one of the county’s most innovative businesses CupPrint, has been introduced. This award will celebrate businesses of any size who prove they have a green mind-set, through policy, innovations or initiatives.
Also new is, ‘Best Use of Digital Marketing/Social Media’, – sponsored by Treacy’s West County. This category will resonate with businesses leveraging digital and social media to better engage with customer or to gain competitive advantage.
Clare County Council is once again main sponsor of these annual awards that celebrate achievements by businesses based across county Clare. Cathal Crowe, Cathaoirleach Clare County Council said, “Clare County Council is delighted to be lead sponsor of Clare Business Excellence Awards 2019. These awards offer an opportunity for businesses to benchmark against, and ultimately to stand out from competitors.
Regardless of whether the entrant is a start-up business operated by a sole trader, a multi-generational family business, an indigenous SME or a multi-national, what they have in common is pursuit of excellence and that’s to be encouraged and lauded.”
Pat Dowling, Chief Executive, Clare County Council added, “Clare Business Excellence Awards showcase dynamic businesses operating across a broad range of sectors throughout the county, while also celebrating the contribution local businesses make to the local economy.
We are very fortunate in county Clare to have so many businesses willing to step up to the plate to show leadership and constantly raise standards. The willingness of local businesses to invest in their people and their business is clearly reflected in the quality of entries to this awards scheme. With new categories this year in the areas of digital marketing and green practices, we look forward to hearing new stories about new innovations.”
Gwen Culligan, President, Ennis Chamber has personal experience when it comes to these awards. “I have engaged with Clare Business Excellence Awards as an entrant since their inception, and therefore know first-hand the value and opportunity they offer businesses to compete and differentiate in these changing times.
For businesses operating across County Clare, regardless of size, the benefits of entering these awards is immense. There’s the benchmarking aspect, but also winning an established and credible award such as a Clare Business Excellence Award feeds into a businesses’ ability to attract and retain talent and is a ‘door-opener’ for new business.”
