Community Employment Scheme
Due to the very mild winter so far there has been great progress in the Community Gardens and Polly tunnel over the last few months. Below is a couple of pictures highlighting the transformation. In the tunnel at present there is a range of broad beans, chilli’s Onions, lettuce and garlic growing. In the coming months we will be expanding to Potatoes, Carrots, Parsnips Cabbage, strawberries. A huge thanks you has to go out for the seven lads responsible for the transformation – Well done lads!
