Update on Ennis Public Realm Works : Between 8th to 12th of July further paving has been completed in High St at the corner outside Nana’s tea.
Planters 5 and 6 have been installed outside Kilkenny Shop and Brass.
In O’Connell St paving has been completed in the footpath areas
between Insomnia and Neylons.
Ducting and services have been installed, followed by a concrete
protection slab in the footpath between PTSB and Seoidin. Excavations
in the footpath area between Daly’s Insurance and Collins Jewellers has
been completed along with the installation of ducting and services.
What’s planned for next week – July 15th to 19th ?
Paving will continue in High St next week in advance of cleaning and sealing.
In O’Connell St, Heras fencing will be pushed back off the carriageway
between the Diamond Bar and Shoe Rack, opening the area for Pedestrians.
Paving will continue in the footpath area between Insomnia and Phone Fixer.
Excavations in the footpath area will begin between Tresspass and Boots, in
advance of the installation of ducting and services. Works will also
commence on the installation of the last remaining 4m on new sewer on
O’Connell St in this area.
New manifolds and a watermain will be installed outside Seoidin and the
Chamber of Commerce.
A concrete protection slab will be installed in the footpath areas between
Dalys Insurance and Collins Jewellers and between Pamela Scott and Hill
